Muslims taking part in the evening prayer were forcibly moved on by Australian police in Sydney, New South Wales.
They were part of a wider protest against the visit of Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel, to Australia.
Police can be seen in footage dragging men away from prayer.
Rather than respect this sacrosanct Islamic duty the police treated these Muslims like criminals for peaceably assembling and exercising their democratic rights.
Many members of the Australian Muslim community have expressed their shock and outrage at these events.
