New Masjid in Brisbane

Brisbane is set to be the home of one of the largest Masjids in the southern hemisphere.

The Masjid will contain both male and female prayer areas and facilities.

It will cater for over 2,000 attendees and 400 cars.

It will also include a community hall, library and auditorium.

The Masjid will be the centre of Muslim cultural life in the Queensland capital.
