Donald Trump has ramped up the pressure on Iran in the last few weeks.
He has sent numerous ships, including at least two aircraft carriers, to the Persian Gulf region.
The United States has significant bases in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar, which are in easy reach of Iranian military strikes.
However, Trump remains a chaos agent with little to offer by way of a coherent foreign policy.
He is a mediocre tactician and an appalling strategist.
So long as Trump is in power the United States will continue to flail around and alienate its allies and foes alike.
The recent unrest in Iran has only spurred Trump on.
In time the Muslims will triumph over the infidel.
